Which certain songs do you have in mind? I'd suggest starting with one song. Just one of Patton's songs is more than enough to bite off at one time. The link that Stumblin gave lists all of Patton's song tunings and where they were pitched. That's an excellent starting place. Then you can ask specific questions about a particular song as you work it out. :)
