I think the key was a little low in this rendition for my vocals. I later bumped that up a bit. These are my verses but the chorus and the melody are based on a much older song. (Dave Macon) Uncle Dave Macon, with Sam McGee [?26, ?I?ve Got the Mourning Blues? Vocalion 15319] Jim Kweskin offered it as "Morning Blues".
