"When the waitress brought our drinks, I picked up my beer and proposed a toast. 'To John Hammond, for bringing Son to Columbia Records.' Son looked at me for a few seconds and then shook his head. He picked up his bourbon and smiled at me for the first time all day. 'To Robert Johnson, for being dead!'" - Dick Waterman

After seeing that wonderful Bessie Smith tune, "Kitchen Man", covered here by slideaway, I thought that I might be able to  follow that by offering something with a similar double entendre twist. I like to refer to this as my filthy food song but that all depends upon how much imagination you use. ;o)

Some audiences are more challenging than others. My favorites are those that are there to listen. I can have to most fun in that kind of an environment.

Certain venues have a great many distractions to contend with in the course of presenting 'live' entertainment. Those competing elements can sometimes make me feel like I'm just sonic wallpaper.
