* Weenie's CD!

So I asked him to play "Trav'lin' All Alone." That came closer than anything to the way I felt. And some part of it must have come across. The whole joint quieted down. If someone had dropped a pin, it would have sounded like a bomb. When I finished, everybody in the joint was crying in their beer, and I picked thirty-eight bucks up off the floor - Billie Holiday, 1915-1959

UK blues gathering 4-6 Feb

UK Weenies

A little late to publicise, but a blues gathering has been organised at the Swallow Hotel, Swindon for  the 4-5-6 Feb, special hotel rates have been fixed and an awful lot of the EBA blues crowd are threatening to fill the 60 rooms so it should be non-stop musical fun.................. :)

I hope they have restocked the bar for the weekend and who know's what party games have been  organised :P

If you are interested please book direct with the hotel (uk) 01793-833700 but you must mention the blues weekend event to get the special rate .

For other info please email Sonya who has been brave enough to put it all together and her medal is being minted as I type  ;)

Don't forget to bring the guitar!!
(That's enough of that. Ed)

Don't forget to take pictures of UK weenies and co., and hell maybe even a recording or two for the back porch...

Have fun, folks. Sounds like a great idea.
