Im fairly new to lap style playing so Richard graciously offered at the Euroweenie weekend to send me a copy of a DVD he did for another "Weenie in lap style learning" a few years ago.
Im trying to get my head around "pentatonics / dotted crotchets" and suchlike which are completely new to me (Ive played guitar and other stringed instruments for many years but only by ear) but the revelation for me has been his references th "Casey Bill"... Thought I'd better check these out so looked on You Tube, liked those a lot so just ordered a Casey Bill Weldon CD.
Funny thing is Ive been aware of the name for a lot of years as "Im gonna Move (to the Outskirts of Town)" has been a song Ive sung and played - on regular guitar - for many many years.
Dont you just love finding out new things!
Thanks Richard, I'll keep on trying out the new slants n stuff...
