Julius Lester came in with a music caravan. Bob Dylan was there, Pete Seeger, Theodore Bikel. But what they forgot about was that for about 100 miles around, [they] had some of the best traditional music ever. And we didn't have the consciousness then to pull that together, you know, to pull in those living legends of blues men and women who were right there - Worth Long, organizer for the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee, talking about a movement festival in Greenwood, Mississippi in 1960s

Hi Mike - Im new to this board, I really enjoyed your playing and singing, great to hear this style of song clearly without all the "crackles" that are on the originals - thanks for posting this!

Good effort, all Blake's tunes are hard to play right, and hey, there were sooooooo many great tunes he did, my favorite guitar player
bar none and it's great that some people do his stuff, it takes a lot of confidence to tackle his tunes, I have played about 9 of them
in public and I gotta say these songs are more daunting if you perform them outdoors, I have found hearing myself almost impossible
at times, and you HAVE to hear yourself when doing these in particular. This tune is one I have never played, but Black Dog is similar.
Love to see your next one.
I met a woman she was a pigmeat some
Big fat mouth, I followed her home
She pulled a gun and broke my jaw
Didnt leave me hard on, I didnt get sore
