Anyone have or have tried a Recording King RO-06?
« on: April 01, 2012, 10:52:43 PM »
I am looking to get myself a new guitar.  I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to play a Recording King RO-06?  I can get a good deal on one, but I haven't been able to find one close enough to me to try out!
Any info would be great!
Thanks,
-Ryan

Looks like a nice 0018 copy. I imagine its pretty good. I've been a bit more impressed with the Blueridge versions than Recording Kings, though I haven't tried this model. Probably made in the same factory.... If it sounds good, plays good and looks good..It IS good!

I spent some time last year shopping around for a low-budget parlor-size or 000 guitar, and I tried both the RO-06 and the Blueridge BR-43. The only reason I preferred the Blueridge is because it has 14 frets vs. 12, otherwise I felt that both of them were surprisingly high quality and good-sounding for such low prices.

I have a Recording King ROS - 606 -- beautiful mahogany guitar.  Every one who I trust to touch it loves it when they play it.  Check out my youtube vidyas for it.
Puttin' on my Carrhartts, I gotta work out in the field.
