Muddy Waters sings Big Bill Broonzy
« on: April 22, 2011, 07:10:54 AM »
On the Chess box set from Muddy Waters there are several cuts from the Muddy Waters sings Big Bill Broonzy sessions wich are not on the original album and reissues of that same album (Blues before sunrise, Take the bitter with the sweet, She's into something).

The quality of both audio and performance is just incredible. I wonder if more material exists. Anyone?

No problem.

If you visit the Blues & Rhythm web site you can download a pdf of Wight & Rothwell's revised Muddy discography (from 2005) which they originally published in 1991 http://www.bluesandrhythm.co.uk/classics.html

No home should be without one!  ::)
