My songs, they have just the one chord, there's none of that fancy stuff you hear now, with lots of chords in one song. If I find another chord, I leave it for another song. - Junior Kimbrough

A couple clips from last night's show...
« on: March 20, 2011, 01:26:36 PM »
First gig in 8 months...  I was incredibly nervous.  Some sound issues in the first couple songs, but I was feeling more comfortable by the time I played these two.  I need to practice using my pickups more often.  I enjoy playing acoustically in my kitchen much more than this stuff, but I'm still looking forward to getting back out there.

Great job Mike!

Doesn't sound nervous at all. Great singing and playing.

Cheers

Same here, seemed real natural and I enjoyed those a lot. Had to rewind the Willie joke before I caught it. He slipped that one right in. Nice harp, guitar tone and vocals.

Great stuff, Mike.

I really like the way you attack the strings with your right hand.

Great work Mike!
Your usual super picking and some strong vocals. I like the harp work also.

Nice package,
Joe
