thank you, sirs - the real congratulations are due to Todd Cambio - he's the guy that built it, after all. It's just mine for the time being as a result of scraping up the money to pay for it! Anybody could do that! It's just amazing to me that a guitar this new could have a voice so *old*.
and sincerely - thanks for the kind compliments on my playing. Lemon will always be one of my heroes!
Great picking and singing there Frankie! Next time turn a little straighter into the camera please, I need all the pickin' clues I can get.
thanks joe - I figured the picking hand would be more interesting than the fretting hand - it's just a bunch of C for the most part.. the picking is the tricky stuff!
hey frankie, nice guitar, & cool performance! i always enjoy your videos. but the thing i am always most impressed with is how natural your vocals always sound. it sounds like you're singing like yourself & not in some contrived manner. very cool! (nice pickin', too ) chris
thanks, chris - I really do appreciate that. My voice is something I've struggled with for a long time - trying to imitate people I admire (both living and dead) and trying to find what works for me. I still have a lot to learn, and it's nice to know what I'm doing resonates with people. Sometimes I wonder about that!

FWIW I absolutely agree with this! You are finding your own voice, which is very cool! I too am big fan of your singing.
The maker's lucky to have the player, the player's lucky to have the maker, and the guitar's lucky to have the singer and player. And we're all lucky to have Lemon, and to be able to hear Frankie do his song. All best, Johnm

Fantastic. That is the sort of stuff I want playing on my car of a morning. Is there a Frankie solo cd? If not, why not?!
Thanks, NS. There's no Frankie solo CD, but the last one has One Dime Blues on it, and the next will have a solo number (a couple others where I just accompany another singer). For right now, the solo stuff just kind of exists in a continuum with other music I like, so I don't really put a lot of time into it, specifically. We have one more CD to do after this next one, then I could maybe entertain it, unless I get back into banjo, mandolin or fiddle... then all bets are off!
