I'm delighted to announce that our Brazilian trio, Zumbido, featuring Ginny Snowe on vocals and melodica, Joel Litwin on percussion and drums, and John Miller on guitar has come out with a new CD!  We'll be celebrating with a CD Release concert in Seattle and would love to see you there.   Here are the details:

Saturday, October 2
9:00 p.m.
Egan's Ballard Jamhouse
1707 NW Market St.
Ballard

reservations@ballardjamhouse. com

Reservations highly recommended.  And if you can't make it to the show, you can order the CD and hear sound samples at our website:  www.zumbidobuzz.com.  Thanks.
All best,

Congratulations, John, sounds great!

Maybe the little video sample from your press pages would be appropriate here, to celebrate the occasion:

Cheers

Thanks Pan, for putting that up and thanks Frankie for the good words.  Forro, from the northeast of Brazil, bears some similarities to Zydeco.  It is rocking stuff, and really fun to play, and Ginny definitely gets her jams out!
All best,
Johnm

Excellent video, I had to turn it up. Love the the groove, and the single break really fits and lifts the whole performance. My playing partner (and spouse) has a melodica and I will bet when she sees this it will get more use. Respect for the drummer also.
