She was really an ugly woman... but when she opened her mouth - that was it! You forgot everything. She knew how to sing those blues, and she got right into your heart. What a personality she had. Sorry about the number, I had it written correctly but obviously couldn't type.

I suspect that eruoweenies sounded like an incontinence device, that must have been the hospital connection PP.

And d'you know, I thought for a minute UB had booked  :(

I wish, would be a pleasure to meet up with UK/Euro weenies. Another year!

P.S. Richard, you may want to correct the phone number in your original post to avoid further confusion with hospitals.  :P

And next year it would be nice if any of our pals from mainland Europe could join us. I won't mention the obvious names, but I know we have members in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and Austria - and probably other countries that don't immediately come to mind.

After all, we seem to refer to the event as Euroweenie, when in reality it probably should be Britweenie, but that just doesn't sound so good.

Good thought PP  but why didn't you come up with that before   :D

So, if you are a weenie somewhere out there in euroweenieland, sign up now and join us to experience a weekend you will never forget  :-X and of course, the best in faded English country house hotel hospitality  :P

Booked. Let's not disappoint blueshome, who's expecting more 'torture' - any songs/styles/tunes you'd like to have a go at?

Excellent Prof and I'm sure we can find something to annoy Blueshome, possibly a banjo or three?

Well guys, it looks like you're going to have to change the name to Worldweenie. It seems I shall be joining you this year, with my 'Rider (  ;) ) by my side. Seems my wife has made arrangements to tour Turkey with a woman from Totness, so we'll sort of be in the neighbourhood and I thought I'd drop in, L-00 in hand.

Let me know if there is anything you'd like me to bring from Canada, besides the common sense and charm I have in such abundance.

No ukes please!

See you all Apr 1,
Alex

What a brave chap you are and to want to stay in the faded glory of the hotel as well  :)

We shall look forward to seeing you both, unless you really want to tavel with a guitar I'm sure somebody could probably lend you something suitable for the weekend, justy a thought knowing what a pain flying with an instrumen can be.

Let me know if you need further info or anything.

Good news, we welcome colonials as well as continentals - we Brits are not as insular as you might think.

We'll be taking a look at the programme once we have a fulll idea of who's there in the early New Year.

Alex - you'll be as welcome as the flowers is in May. It will be great to meet you in person.

You must excuse me now, while I go polish my ukulele...

He'll soon see the error of his ways and book up.

By the way Alex, you should know that Richard and I are the sensible ones who take everything very seriously.... ( >:D)

Actually girls, boys and weenies, I have no need to book since they cunningly assumed I would be coming and reserved me a room at the beginning!
