It has been suggested that this artist was Robert Johnson's mother, but this appears not to be the case - Blues and Gospel Records 1890-1943's entry for "Mrs. Johnson"

Hi Stefan,
Thanks very much for letting us know about the additions to your web site, and especially the Mamlish discography and the discography of Pete Franklin.  I feel a lot of respect and affection for Don Kent's Mamlish Records--it was a tremendous re-issue label, something like Origin Jazz Library but even more difficult to find in stores.  Don gets big points from me for re-issuing a lot of Freddie Spruell and being the first to get out Lane Hardin's songs.  The discography on Pete Franklin is tragically short.
All best,
Johnm
