Played on my trusty, rusty, buzzing, and thumping Stambac, Swiss made Guitar-Banjo. No yodeling I'm afraid.

Hi O'Muck,
That really sounds great, an inspired call to put it on the banjo-guitar.
All best,
Johnm

Thanks JohnM. I'm now working on a guitar transcription of the Bach unaccompanied cello suites to be played on guitar -banjo.

Tres cool!
Just acquired a banjo guitar myself this week! I'm very excited and the neighbors are terrified.
Now....where might I acquire your musical abilites please?
I'm kinda in a hurry; if I payed extra could I receive them by weeks end?

Thanks, Gary

YES YOU CAN! Here's how: go to the closest liquor store and buy yourself a big ol' jug of the finest vodka you can find. Then buy yourself a copy of Rev. Gary Davis's record "The Guitar & Banjo of Reverend Gary Davis" and put the cut "Devil's Dream" on repeat. Pick up yer Guitar-jo , pour a glass of vodka, and play along till all the vodka is gone. WARNING! Do not try to do this in one day! Give yourself about two weeks. That's all there is to it! Good luck!

Are you guys slow learners or just slow drinkers? :P

Listened to "Big Bill and the King of France" last evening. Well done, Mr O. I hear that there are now bootleg mixes available on the street.

Sorry. While you were typing I took hold of all the vooooodka :P

Regarding Big Bill, I see no option, than to meet Mr O'Muck on some deserted (slightly sci-fi?) northern  pole U.S. miltary base, for a duel with his Guitar-Banjo, and my hoplessy frozen Balalaika.

Frozen Balalaika huh? How about the San Antonio, Tx. arboretum Tovaritch? At least one Star Trek episode was filmed there. Its not exactly an arctic wasteland however.
Anybody else ever been there? Quite erie. Right in the center of four military bases. six foot thick concrete walls everywhere and most of it underground. Seven withered plants. Gave me a funny feeling that it had "other" purposes. Hmmmm.
