Hi Mike, thanks for listening. Yeah, I'm 18 and a half years old, mentally I'm about 4 years old though...

I listened to all of your tunes on Soundclick. Your Lemon Jefferson song is incredible.

Hey Wolf:

I listend to five of your tunes, especially your Oscar Woods Stuff (a fav of mine).

For "Don't Sell It" that rhythmic bounce tha OW gives the tune could maybe use a little emphasis, but other wise It's v. well done. You've chosen to alter the signature lick (which is cool), poss. it could be developed a little more strongly.

For "Kindhearted Woman", you've added some great musical ideas, very interesting, very inventive. Why not add some original words, make it totally original and have a total showstopper. Terrific.

BTW, my favorite vocal on all the tunes I listened to was on "Lone Wolf". I like your natural voice. Rather than sounding like a girl (whatever that means), I thought you were more vocally expressive.

Great tunes, I was really impressed.

Very nice, Roy.  Your playing and voice capture these songs very nicely, indeed.  I like your choice of songs.  Keep on pickin!    :)

Hey everybody...

If you have time, check out my new electric recordings. Both of them are originals.

"Wind on my Face" - instrumental with fast sliding.

"You Better Treat Me Right" - 12 bar blues that I wrote.

Let me know what you think. Happy Xmas.

Gary Davis, and a song that I wrote

I recorded two songs today (I'm about to record more, I think), one of them is Gary Davis' "Lord, I Looked Down the Road", and another one is something that I wrote called "A Heart Made of Stone".

Hi LoneWolf,

Sounding good. Are you playing both guitar parts? Nice jazzy tinges on occasion to the leads.

I think posting this on a Sunday at a time when most people in North America are dealing with supper and most of the UK/Euro weenies are either in bed or getting thrown out of the pub affects response time. Patience!  ;D

Hi Uncle Bud.

I have patience, it's just that this thread had more than 50 views and not a single comment, so I thought this recording is sadly bad.

Thank you for the comment, glad you liked it. My friend played back up guitar.

Hey Wolf:

Since I can hardly hold a flatpick, I'm hardly one to be commenting on a flatpicked tune.

I like it. three comments.

1) The flat picked runs tend to have all the notes at even time spacings. If you "swung" the note spacings a bit it would add some interest (I've been listening to a lot of Frank Stokes lately, that guy knew how to swing). As someone once said, music is as much about the gaps as it is about the notes.

2) Don't affect your voice so much. I like your natural voice!

3) Geez, keep it up, your great.

Hi Alex!!

Although I do play with a flatpick on rare occasions, I played this one with bare fingers.
You're right about the gaps.

I swear to god that since I started smoking, this is my voice:) Can't help it... Also, my voice was kinda hoarse in this session and I tried to holler, and this is what happened I guess.

Thank you so much!!! Check out my other post in the Porch. The one with the Gary Davis tune.
