In discussions last evening it seems that Gre and I making it to this gathering is a distinct possibility. Please pencil us in for a sea-view double.

And Scratch. Thanks much for the invite. We would love to visit Scratchy Towers. -G-  Probably before the gathering in Guernsey. as we'll continue on from there to Paris. Wow, I'm getting excited about this.

All for now.

Looks like this is going to happen  :-X

Not sure whether I can log on again before I leave here but I am back home for a day on Wednesday before going back to England for 4 days so will endeavour to put a hold on say ten rooms at the hotel and then you guys can book them direct - but at least that would be a concrete start to things.

So as they say watch this space  :D

ps.  I do recommend the swordfish here in Corsica yum yum  :P

Quick update.... I have checked all dates as best as I can and nothing seems to overlap so I have put a hold on some rooms in the hotel for 13-14 April 2007.

It's a pain trying to put these things together where accommodation is concerned so what I would REALLY like is if a few keen weenies could make that long distance (time-wise) booking and thereby show some intent which will keep the hotel happy...etc phew etc

The details are all in this thread somewhere, but I will over the next week put a web page together to get all the info in the same spot.

I can't do a lot more until we have some bookings to make it concrete... so, weenies it's over to you  :)

Hi Richard and co! I might well be up for a (first) trip to the islands: I've just come across this thread today when I was looking for something else. I shall put the matter to my best-beloved this evening and see what transpires...

Cheerily,

Gerry C
I done seen better days, but I'm puttin' up with these...

Just tried a "long-distance" booking via the hotel's website. Booking rejected with message "rates not available for the period in question". I've e-mailed instead, so we'll see what happens?

Prof do let know if you can't get any joy and I'll pop in the hotel for you and get 'em sorted!

I'm just in the process of doing a web page to set out the contact details for transport and all that so bear with me and hopefully that will contain all the relevant info.

Any problems...anybody do let me know.

Prof S ... good,  yes Gerald is the reception man.... I have been delayed with the web site and am literally doing it as I type but with luck will have it up this weekend and that will give details of transport etc.. we get there slowly!!
