Recording question
« on: February 28, 2005, 11:54:21 AM »
My PC does not have a mic input. I have USB ports and a sound card but need some kind of device to plug a mic into with a USB plug on the output side for not much money. Any suggestions?

i-Mic

I don't think it was any better than my sound card but it was no worse either and the cost is low.

Buying a SoundBlaster sound card is probably a reasonable solution. ?I noticed that newegg.com has one for $26, and I noticed a slightly older one (5.1) on ebay.com for $16.50. ? You might pick up a used one at a computer show for less than $10 (but the cost of admission would eat up the difference in price). ?

I'm not overly impressed by the recordings I have made on the computer so far. ?Maybe someone will share their secrets. ?
