And Barnes and Noble is in the midst (until Dec. 1) of its twice-annual Criterion 50% off sale?

Criterion has a lot of good stuff in addition to Les Blank's films. They have sales via their site and on occasion also make some films free for streaming for a limited time (maybe a week or two). So if you like what they have, it might be worth signing up. They don't continuously send me e-mails like some outfits--just one every couple of weeks. --And there's always something that merits submitting a purchase request to our local library systems.
