Red Cross 1927 Flood
« on: May 29, 2014, 01:22:49 PM »
I know that musicians were affected by the 1927 flood and songs like Highwater by Patton discusses it but does anyone know of performers who were in any of the Refugee/Red Cross camps?  Anyone know if there were Red Cross camps in Clarksdale, hernando, Lake Cormorant, Lula, Shelby, Cleveland Drew,  or other areas where so many of the Mississippi singers came from?
