Many thanks to Scott, Prof, Stuart, Harriet, Old Man Ned and Alex for the happy birthday wishes, I really appreciate them.  It was a nice day and weather has been so beautiful here lately that just being out and about is a treat.

And while we're wishing happy birthdays, I'd like to wish Stuart a Happy Birthday today.  Happy birthday, Stuart!
All best,
Johnm

I was reflecting on what an incredible amount of musical talent and knowledge came into this world at this time in May back in the early 1950s—and then there was yours truly, perhaps as a counter balance…  :P
