I don't remember Jerron being blind . . . is he or is it part of his act?

He's got limited vision but is visually impaired. You wouldn't want him driving, as someone once put it. 'Course, I wouldn't want a lot of other people driving...

As Jerron once explained it to me, he has an extremely narrow field of vision - almost like taking a styrafoam cup, poking a hole in the bottom and putting it up to your eye to see through.  His vision began deteriorating at age 16 or 17, while he was still living in California.

At any rate, that's my memory from a few years back.  Apologies if I got anything wrong.

Nice article, Uncle Bud, thanks for posting!  My wife and I may hit one of the Jazz Age Lawn Parties next summer, it was defininly near the top of our list of fun things to do.

Heh heh... A few summers back, I taught Jerron how to drive stick, in my 87 Toyota van, through the dark streets of Port Townsend.  I was glad when it was over.
