Title: A couple of works in progress
Post by: Norfolk Slim on July 29, 2005, 02:55:50 PM
Possibly not a great time to post given that many weenies are off having a great time in PT!

However, I've been noodling around with these two ideas and would be grateful for some weenie widsom as to whether they are worth further effort or not.  Both unfinished, but its really hard to be objective about whether I have a good idea / groove or not and it would be good to have some no nonsense honest views before I spend more time on them!

First one is in an odd tuning- 6th string down to A and 5th down to E.

Second is pretty normal e positoin stuff, inspired in part by MJH's avalon blues.

I enjoyed them both but I loved Miss me when I'm gone. Great groove and timing is right on. I guess I am also very preferential to MJH style.
