I think American children ought to be taught about roots music, just like they're taught about Thomas Jefferson or Mark Twain - Pete Wernick

Lyrics help: "Your Goose is cooked / Your behind is bacon"
« on: November 30, 2015, 01:19:26 PM »
These lyrics popped into my head and I can't remember where they're from. Amazingly Google is silent as well.

"Your goose is cooked
Your behind is bacon
You, my friend, are sadly mistaken"

(In my head it's "my goose..." and "my behind" but that doesn't make as much sense with the 3rd line. I feel like it's from some kind of 78 from the 20s-30s but not sure if it's country blues, jazz...or something totally different.)

Can anyone help? Starting to drive me a bit nuts...
Thanks!
