Maybe 2 minor things:
3.2 Well I know you're gonna miss me from
I hear ways instead of way for 5.2 (the second "way")
5.2 I'm the poor boy, I'm a poor boy, poor boy, way long way from home

These books are great. They go deep into the styles of players, the tab is accurate with good left hand playing advice and there's something for most every level of player.

Hi all, J. W. Warren accompanied himself in cross-note tuning, I believe, for "You're Gonna Miss Me".This is an unusually tough identification. His accompaniment is a mysterious sort of ostinato that seems to keep turning around on itself. The resulting sound is altogether distinctive and unusually inward--you get the feeling you're listening to some private ruminations. Here is "You're Gonna Miss Me":
INTRO
My babe, packed her suitcase, well she started for the train She's a married woman, but I, oh, love her just the same
That is sure, as the stars, high, high in that sky above Married life ain't worth living if you, ain't with the one you love
INTERLUDE
Mmmmmmmmmm, you gonna miss me when I'm gone I know you're gonna miss me from, oh, singin' these old lonesome songs
Lawd, Lawd, oh Lawd, Lawd, Lawdy-Lawd Used to be your regular, oh look at him, now I gotta be your dog
INTERLUDE
Mmmmmmmmmm, don't you hear me when I moan? I'm the poor boy, I'm a poor boy, poor boy, way long way from home
INTERLUDE
Well I know, you gonna miss me, you gonna miss me, when I'm gone And I know you're gonna miss me from, singin' these old lonesome songs

All best, Johnm

Hi all, Carolina Slim accompanied himself out of E position in standard tuning for "Ain't It Sad". It was recorded the same day as "Since I Seen Your Smiling Face". Slim's opening solo is really unusual and ventured into a lot of territory you don't often hear in E blues. Once again, his vocal is very subdued, not surprising, perhaps, given the subject matter. And given how early Guitar Slim died, you wonder if it was a premonition. Here is "Ain't It Sad":
INTRO
Ain't it sad, ain't it sad, we all got to lay down and die? Ain't it sad, ain't it sad, we all got to lay down and die? Yes, it's something you can't get around, no matter how hard you try
When that old hearse come rolling, and park in front of your door When that old hearse come rolling, and parked in front of your door They gon' take you right to the boneyard, and let you down, six feet below
SOLO
I'm warning all you people, you better get on the right side, 'cause you don't never know when you're gonna lay down and die Ain't it sad, ain't it sad, we all got to lay down and die? Yes, it's something you can't get around, no matter how hard you try
All best, Johnm

Hi Blues Vintage,
Do you know the place and date of these Eric Bibb videos?
Thanks
Théâtre antique de Vienne, Vienne, France July 17, 2008 We've had some discussion about adding dates and places to the videos. We do it for all the official (studio) recordings (if known), maybe we should do it for the performance video stuff too. I could have posted more songs. Eric was "in the zone" especially towards the end of concert. Thanks Joe Paul, everybody can submit content for the Weenie Campbell channel. I anybody's got some good blues material they want to share feel free to contact me or banjochris.

Can't remember, have we got anyone else on here based in France?
I live on the outskirts of Lille so not very close to Vienne but my son moved to Lyon a few months ago, so maybe I'll visit him sometime I believe there was a member's map somewhere on WeenieCampbell's website, but I can't find it at the moment.
