I got to get drunk, Vi. I'm going to play with Big Joe - Ransom Knowling tells his wife what it takes to play with Big Joe Williams, quoted in Deep South Piano by Karl Gert zur Heide
This is my first post in the forum. I'm from Spain and I play a little blues... this is me playing Poor Boy in a gig on august '21. Have a mercy on me!!
Good performance, JAC. Nice use of the non-opposing right hand. You could use that right hand style on Shake It and Break It, also, learning to be a little more accurate with the index finger. This could really key you in on getting Charley's rhythmic flow and adaptability. Then you could also add the tap on the beat with the little or ring fingers.
Thanks for posting this.

Hi, John!!
In a way, you were my first teacher in country blues music. My first approach to this style was with one of your fantastic books a friend gave to me. It changed my way of feeling the music and I never looked back. Today, I keep on learning and playing the blues and your books are a constant inspiration for keep on the way. Thank you very much, I really apreciate your words!!
Thanks for the good words, JAC, and I"m glad my books are helping you, but you're doing the work, and that's the main thing. Keep up the good work and enjoying the music! All best, Johnm
