New ladder-braced 12 fret guitar

Hi guys. Thought you might be interested in a little peek at a ladder braced guitar that I just finished,

'bout as plain as it can be,
built for a lefty, as you can see.

"caught a sebben pound perch on the bottom, yeah he got 'em
took 'em home to his momma, say he real gone"

Hi Rivers
It's Mahogany and Red spruce. It is an L-00 size.

Hi Dave,
Nice job.  How does it sound compared to the other guitars that you made?

Hi Todd, nice to hear from you.
It's funny, you know this is my first ladder braced job, it really doesn't sound worlds different from my other X-braced guitars, the heavy unwound third captures about as much a difference as there is. It isn't particularly "thumpy" or without sustain. I "pushed" the volume and tone by setting the neck back slightly more than normal to make a higher bridge and saddle, I guess I was looking for a more "metallic" sound. I got the volume, but not the metallic, maybe just a little. What I did get, as the owner has told me, was a much more immediate response. He was looking for a loud, brash sound, and he seems to be pleased. Now, if it just doesn't blow up! Hah! It is my lightest guitar to date.
