The blues sung by an unspoiled singer in the South, sung without the binding restrictions of a conventional piano accompaniment or orchestral arrangement, grow up like a wild flowering vine in the woods - Lomax John & Alan, 1941, quoted in Red River Blues

Looks like you have to sign up to Soundclick to listen, I'm afraid I can't cope with joining yet "another" net thingy.... why don't you just post a cut-down to size mp3 here ???
(That's enough of that. Ed)

Roi, I've had your song stuck in my head for a couple of hours.. that's a really good tune.  And I'm definitely hearing your voice getting stronger as time goes by.  These last couple of yours -specifically this one and "Jack o' Diamonds" are just fantastic.

Thanks man, that's too kind of you. I've always liked what you do, LOVE the banjo tunes.

Have I told you how similar your voice is to Willie Brown's voice? It's kinda scary actually.

Yes, you've said that before, and that means a lot to me.  Whenever I play out the comparison I usually get is "wow, you sound just like Tom Waits" and I'm like "no, I don't!"  So to have an educated opinion comparing me to Willie Brown is just great.. lol..
As for the banjo, I meant to record some of that this week, but I ran out of time.  I'll try to get some of that up sooner rather than later..
