$10 plus two cans of food (or $50 for all four days) gets you all-day music on four stages. And it's a benefit for the Oregon Food Bank. And it's an excuse to come to Portland! http://www.waterfrontbluesfest.com
At least three country-blues acts on the bill: Blind Boy Paxton, Tevis Hodge Jr and Steve Cheseborough.
My suggested strategy for this fest is to hang out mostly at the Crossroads Stage, where the smaller and more acoustic acts usually play. More intimate and accessible stage anyway. And bop over to the Front Porch Stage from time to time for a change and to dance. Let the big crowds stay at the two so-called main stages.
If anyone wants to get together for a beer, a lesson or just to say hello while you're in Portland, give me a call, text or email! Cheers, SC
