Title: It was not told to me, I only heard - Quote Drive 2015
Post by: CF on February 03, 2015, 05:53:50 AM
I just saw a quote in the Oracle from Muddy Waters' LOC interviews in 1941 & when asked how old he though Son House was the Oracle has him saying 'Son House is ancient . . . he's about 47.'
I don't think that's the word Muddy uses (can't seem to find the interv. right now to check) but I think he says 'aged' or ageable' or some other term like that. I'll check back

Here's one I posted that got over 400 upvotes on reddit when discussing diabetes and B B King.

I couldn't find the 2015 thread, so this one will have to do. After reading the recent blog bait, I'm reminded of the following:

"...what one says in abstractions about 'a tradition' finds its ultimate proof or disproof in the lives of men..."
                        Arthur F. Wright

And in the lives of women, one should add.

If someone can think of a good tagline for a 2015 iteration we can split this one by posting date easily enough.

BTW Stuart, 'blog bait', excellent term, consider it stolen.
