A couple of weeks back I mentioned a 15-year-old banjo player who I appreciate as someone continuing the tradition of Appalachian mountain music.
Here's a story about some elders with whom she shares her love of the music, much further to the west, in the Ozarks. The "younger ones" are in their 70s:

I created this thread in February as an example of something we could all relate to: our chances to get together with friends to play music together were limited because of Covid, and we really missed them.
