Hi all,
I'm searching for the artists, it's a male and female duet, and track for a song most likely titled "Some Old Lonesome Day"
or possibly "Some Day, Sweet Day". I had it on a reel to reel tape as a teen recorded from one of the 2 jazz (and blues) radio shows available in Sydney Australia in the 1960s. It's in 8 bar blues form, laid back, medium tempo. most likely 1930's. East Coast style? I can't find it on line. or eMusic , iTunes. I remember first two verses:
Some day, sweet day, some old lonesome day.
I'm coming home to you baby,
Some old lonesome day.
I was born (where a-bouts?) in Georgia,
But I hang around Tennosee
I got a gal in Georgia
Partner she's crazy 'bout me.
Thanks for your help.
