Member Prune Policy
« on: February 22, 2011, 08:51:35 AM »
Greetings Weenies and Other Lurking Dignitaries:

Just a heads up to let you know that we are going to start a new policy of pruning members who have not logged in for more than a year. So if you happen to catch this message as a lurking guest,  and you have a registered account, that for some reason you have not logged in to for more than a year - please let this be fair warning that you will be subjected to the pruning shears in a week.

Like many forums, we've been inundated with spamming accounts since last August.  We also have accounts that are long since dead, some from as long ago as 7 or 8 years.  So, it is time for us to clean up our membership listing.  We'll make a note of this new policy in our current registration agreement.

Thanks,
Slack

Thanks for the "heads up" Slack, I do look in from time to time but usually I'm not logged in.
I will try to log in more often but with The Blindman's to look after along with The Scottish Blues Alliance and The European Blues Union and hunting gigs time just runs away.

I understand Blindman - thanks for the note. you can always read the forum as a guest, you just need to be logged in to make a post and logging in once a year will keep you current.
