Everybody lost their style after Whitney and Mariah. There's no depth. No taste. It's like cooking collard greens and not putting any meat in them - James Brown, upon turning 70, who was getting ready to take his jumpsuits and high heels on the road again during the summer of 2003. The hardest working man in showbiz has a lot to say about music today, and he doesn't sugarcoat it

I love Scott Dunbar's music, his guitar playing and his voice (most of the time), I'm not a huge fan of his falsetto though.

Hey take a listen to my version of "Liza Jane". I learned it from Dunbar (and also from Luther Strong)
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=547497 First song on the list. Do you know about any other artists who recorded this tune? FWIW Dunbar's seems to be a half remembered version of New Orleans artist Huey Smith's rendition which was a juke box hit throughout the Southern states in 1956. In the late 50s New Orleans singers Smiley Lewis and Fats Domino also recorded it.
