I'm also a fan of round sound hole. archtops. That looks great. Banjo player Bob Carlin just published a book on the history of Regal guitars. I haven't seen it yet but it might be worth a gander.

Really nice.

I have a wonderful book on the history of Washburn by John Teagle US isbn 0.8256X.1435.X  it's really excellent book full of pics, adds etc etc it also covers guitars, banjo's (   :)  ) and mandolins all the way through.

I don't know if it's still available.

I certainly didn't pay $100 for it, more like ten quid in one of those book remainders type shops and it's excellent.
