Well, this is my best shot at this one.

When you get up into heaven, when you get up into heaven, you'll find a big stream of molasses and a big lot of flapjacks sitting on each side. And it's a lot of butter on each side and a big knife to cut the butter with. When you get down to the stream of molasses you're going to cut the butter with your knife, you're going to drag the butter through the flapjacks, you're going to drag the flapjacks through the big stream of molasses, you're going to drag them across your mouth and say, "A bow bow bow bow bow..." - Lead Belly, Sermon on Pancakes, 1941

Good effort, all Blake's tunes are hard to play right, and hey, there were sooooooo many great tunes he did, my favorite guitar player
bar none and it's great that some people do his stuff, it takes a lot of confidence to tackle his tunes, I have played about 9 of them in public and I gotta say these songs are more daunting if you perform them outdoors, I have found hearing myself almost impossible at times, and you HAVE to hear yourself when doing these in particular. This tune is one I have never played, but Black Dog is similar. Love to see your next one. Pages: [1] Go Up
