Robert Palmer's "Deep Blues"
« on: September 19, 2022, 03:36:24 PM »
For those of you who are interested, Robert Palmer's "Deep Blues" documentary (filmed by Robert Mugge) can be seen currently on It has footage of R. L. Burnside, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Junior Kimbrough and Jack Owens, among others. I believe you can watch a single movie for free, even if you[re not a paying subscriber, so if you interested you might want to give that a shot.
All best,

Thanks for the alert, John. I don't have Criterion, but I found "Deep Blues" here as well, for $3.99.
Same, I think.
