Dentist Blues
« on: June 10, 2014, 11:56:14 AM »
Just now listening to Papa Charlie Jackson & Hattie McDaniels' Dentist Chair Blues and realized that this was just one of many novelty Blues songs that contained this kind of Dental, Medical metaphoric description of sex.
Terrible Operation Blues (Georgia Thom & Big Bill) comes to mind, what are some others?

Not country blues, but Dinah Washington does Long John Blues that fits this mode. Some fine guitar work too.

Lonnie Johnson and Victoria Spivey do Toothache Blues (Part 1 and 2).

Georgia White also had the Toothache Blues.

Pigmeat Pete and Catjuice Charlie do one of my faves, Our Family Doctor ("Our family doctor is the best vaccinator in town...")

Walter Davis had one that was pretty durn dirty, and I can't remember the title.  I'll dig it up.
All best,

MJB's Ambulance Man fits the category.

And, if I have understood it correctly, in pretty unpleasant fashion...
