I would ask montana taylor and andy boy, to where they had drifted after they `dFWIW Montana Taylor was interviewed and the result can be read here, albeit not that informative

There was a time when music knew its place. No longer. Possibly this is not music's fault. It may be that music fell in with a bad crowd and lost its sense of common decency - Fran Lebowitz, "The Sound of Music: Enough Already"

Quote I would ask montana taylor and andy boy... It's nice that someone is thinking about piano players! I would ask Freezone: "Why did you call yourself 'Freezone', what the hell is your real name and where are you from?"
Whoops. That's *three* questions. Darn. Quote I would ask Memphis Minnie if she would like to fool around......First of all Mike, she'd be dead, and secondly...sure you could handle her? Hi all,
I think I would ask Lemon what guitar and piano players he heard growing up, for the musical question, and for the other question, ask him about any dogs he or his family ever had, their names, breed, etc. All best, Johnm Quote and for the other question, ask him about any dogs he or his family ever had, their names, breed, etc. Would you be inquiring about their body temperature and ability to make a quick getaway by any chance? Hi O'Muck,
No, I was thinking that if Lemon grew up in rural surroundings, the family might have had a hunting dog like a blue tick hound, so Lemon may have known from personal experience that "blues jumped a rabbit, run him one solid mile". Plus, I just like to talk to people about their dogs. For most people, it's a fond memory. All best, Johnm dj
Quote "blues jumped a rabbit, run him one solid mile" Son of a gun! My family had a coon hound when I was growing up (one of my uncles raised them, along with holstein cows and turkeys), and I never made that connection. You learn something new every day. Thanks. We had a coonhound, too, dj, named Toffee. She was a very sweet dog and had very good manners. (Sorry for the thread creep, folks.)
All best, Johnm hortig78rpm
montana taylor: nobody really knows what happened to him after 1946. that he died 1954 is definitifly wrong. Ive found an arthur taylor, born 19o3, died in 1972
in cleveland in the ancestry site, but to optain a death-certificate from europe is nearly impossible. maybe somebody can help? andy boy was one of the best players of the houston-galveston santa fee gang. he also disappeared in the late 3o`s. there are a lot of piano-players, who are only names today. maybe someone will watch out my forthcoming article in " blues % rhythm" for Ive found biographical data on most of the texas pianists, incl. the "murder reports" on the deaths of wilson"thunder" smith and buster pickens. mike Dazza
I'd ask Bo Carter where the lost movies of him playing and singing my favourite songs were archived (dream a little dream.) My second question would be "why didn't someone film him?!!!!!!"
Daryl.
Well, if she was dead I bet I could, but I think it would be a lot more fun is she was alive, at least for me. Mike Enter as many times as you'd like. Everyone's a winner here today ladies and germs!
I'd like to ask Willie Walker to play the most complicated piece he knew. I'd also ask him to tell me how he learned to play and whether it was true that he and Gary Davis learned guitar from an as yet unidentified teacher at a school for the blind in Greenville.
