GREAT NEWS!
Today I found several definite documents providing Biographical information for Papa Charlie Jackson.
Anyone needing specific information, Ill be glad to help out but the overall article is yet to be organized into a usable form.

I can confirm that he is buried in the most logical and appropriate place.....
This cemetery is the location of many great artists like Big Bill Broonzy, Albert Ammons, and Johnnie Dodds.
Lincoln Cemetery is a cemetery on Kedzie Avenue in Blue Island, Worth Township, Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is noteworthy for the number of famous African-American Chicagoans buried there, among them several blues and jazz musicians of note.
*** Another set of facts that I am enthusiastic about is the address/ location that he moved to when he left his hometown as a young man is the EXACT address of the Sunday School that I attended in the 1970's.
Buildings are long gone off the lot now...

Good for you for making these discoveries, Randy! I will especially be interested in hearing your recently discovered information concerning Papa Charlie. If you have the energy to continue in this vein of finding out more hard biographical information on musicians whom we've known very little about, I would nominate the following, all of whom are pretty much biographical ciphers with no hard information with regard to where they were from, birth and death dates, et al:
* Gene Campbell
* Bobby Leecan & Robert Cooksey
I'm sure I'm not the only person out there who would be fascinated to find out more about these folks. thanks for your efforts.

I have to admit I've never heard of those guys but a quick initial search only showed three negro Gene Campbells that it could be in Texas or Chicago...
The rest are caucasian... so If I research his musical bio, I can probably figure him out... pretty quickly by knowing his musical history..
The other two guys seem more complicated, but again, I've never heard of them (sorry), but when I find time I will listen to their music and learn about them now that I am aware of them and Ill gladly let you know what I find, if anything that is helpful...

But I have his Death Certficate now....It costs me 18 bucks but I have it...

I will get to Lincoln cemetery as soon as I can and confirm Papa's situation there. It might not be until spring but I will post anything I find out.

All of the connections have been made.
75 years after the death of Papa Charlie Jackson, Justin Brown visited the Gravesite of Papa Charlie on Jan 13, 2013. The site has been flagged by the Cemetery.
Although his music has lived on, until now, we did not know the location or date of his final resting place.
Thanks Justin and i'm sure Papa Charlie is thankful!
Now we just need a memorial or headstone for the future generations to appreciate.
