Good eulogy that, brings out the nicely rowdy, human aspects of Mr Price while not impinging on his gentlemanly nature.

I was lucky to see him just after arriving in Austin at a packed Hurricane Katrina benefit in 2006 with, among others, Willie Nelson & family band, the Flatlanders with Joe Ely, Jimmy Dale Gilmour, Butch Hancock and Joel Guzman, and the full Neville Brothers outfit including Aaron, who sang his heart out. What a night to remember that was.

Ray's was a class act, he had the place in the palm of his hand, immaculate performance, perfect sound, classic songs, he really raised the level of the whole evening, everyone was on their feet applauding at the end of his set.
