This is a recording I made two or three years ago, now joined with William Gropper (got confused, knew it was a painter who's name begins with "G") painting of Diogenes Holding up his lamp.

We started out from our parents - it's just a gift that we had in the family. Our mother and father they could both play. And see he was an old musicianer in slavery time. He played for the white folks at square dances and so it was handed down to us - Sam Chatmon

Excellent - really enjoyed that. I hear elements of Fred McD. and a dash of Ry Cooder-style fret rattle. Great groove you've got there, O'Muck.
