After several years in remission, my desire to play harmonica is back. When I realized blues harmonica wasn't totally out of my reach, I became happily obsessed with all things pre-war blues harmonica related. Here is my somewhat diluted rendition of Jaybird's Coleman's Man Treouble Blues. Thanks for listening!

Wow, that is really nice, Nate! Great time, great piercing penetrating tone on the chords, strong singing, it's all right there. That is a treat! All best, Johnm
I agree, it is really great Nate - as Johnm says the harmonica is right there chordally (tone and bending comes with lots of practice - but it sounds just fine!) - but your vocal I think is my favorite of anything you've done. Love the falsetto - you really hit the vocal.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I wanted to push the falsetto "air"a bit more because tonally it isn't as piercing/ sharp as I like it, but at least it isn't pitchy. I will be working to fatten my harmonica tone and to get full control over note bends. Jaybird ends by holding a fully bent 2 hole whereas I hit it but then release it. Not a big deal really, but still I need to be able to hold it.
Ridiculously good, Nate! I always had a desire to learn blues harmonica too (have very basic skills) but you inspire me to believe it's possible and make it my personal mission.
