"Join us for the opening reception of Heroes and Legends of the Secret Museum, The Art of Pat Conte.  Pat Conte, blues musician and curator of the radio program The Secret Museum, exhibits his depictions of favorite musicians, from Mississippi John Hurt, Uncle Dave Macon, Dock Boggs, and Son House to religious heroes St. Matthew and David and Goliath. Conte works in vellum and parchments, in vegetable colors and exotic inks, with fine woods and singing strings, in the well-grooved carving or well-loved shellac, and through sacred objects to their trusted custodian (never their owner) in this life. Following the reception, Pat will take the stage with Bob Guida, together forming the legendary blues band, the Otis Brothers, and will be joined on the stage by friends and fellow lovers of old American blues."
