Hi all,
We were talking and thought it might be a good idea to post additions to Weeniepedia as they are entered. The following items have been added to Weeniepedia in the past week-and-a-half or so.
* Lyrics for "Tillie Lee" and "Ragtime Crazy", as transcribed by banjo chris, have been added to the William Moore Lyrics page, which now has all of Moore's lyrics entered.
* Andrew has entered and formatted the positions and tunings for Peg Leg Howell's '20s recordings and his Testament record, with my commentary.
* Buddy Moss' "New Lovin' Blues" has been entered, and an Artist page for Buddy Moss has been created.
* Pink Anderson's lyrics for "The Wreck of the Old 97", "Gonna Tip Out Tonight", "John Henry" and "Boweevil" have been entered and an Artist page created for Pink.
* The recently transcribed Leroy Carr lyrics for "Straight Alky Blues Part 3" and "I'm Going Away And Leave My Baby" have been added to Leroy Carr's Lyrics page.
* The lyrics for "Moanin' and Groanin' Blues" have been added to Peg Leg Howell's Lyrics page, leaving only "Chittlin' Supper", a spoken number with mandolinist Jim Hill, untranscribed, from his '20s recordings.
We hope that anyone who makes additions to Weeniepedia will post and inform the Weenie community here.

Hi all,
Today I was perusing Weeniepedia and noticed that a song that I knew had been transcribed there was not included in the alphabetical listing. Some checking unearthed between 75-100 titles that were included in the sort under the artists who recorded them but were not in the master alphabetical list, so I did the editing to get them on the list. If you take a look at the list now, it's getting to be pretty impressive, 475 songs transcribed. Onward and upward.
All best,
Johnm

Nice work Johnm!
-
Hi all,
In the past few days, new artist and lyric pages for Edward Thompson, Robert Wilkins, Lane Hardin, Pigmeat Pete & Catjuice Charlie, Cat Iron, Jim Jackson and Tommy McClennan, as well as song lyrics by these artists have been added to Weeniepedia, as well as some lyrics from Papa Charlie Jackson. The alphabetical listing of songs is fast approaching 500 songs transcribed, currently at 494.
All best,
Johnm
-
Hi all,
Song lyrics, lyric and artist pages for Emry Arthur, J. D. Short and Willie Reed have been added to Weeniepedia. The alphabetical list of transcribed songs now stands at 504!
All best,
Johnm

Added Clarence Green Johnson City Blues. Lemon ongoing I guess!

Hi all,
I started a Luke Jordan page and posted lyrics for "Won't You Be Kind?", with others to follow.

I just put up the weeniepedia structure for Leadbelly. While I was doing that it struck me that we could come up with some more really cool categories into which we could link the lyric pages etc. Leadbelly's Shorty George could end up in "Prison Songs", and "Train Songs", for example. Those categories in turn would be sub categories of... what? Maybe the combined "Lyrics" page, "Lyrics by subject" perhaps?
Anyone think this might be a good idea? We have the power, let's use it.
-
Great idea. Go for it.

The former librarian within me says yes, yes, yes......nothing like a bit of referencing and cross referencing :)
-
I too think this is a good idea. Note that some such threads already exist, like the "Shipwrecks and the blues" thread: http://weeniecampbell.com/yabbse/index.php?amp;Itemid=128&topic=2831.0
Pan
-
I agree - great idea.
-
Cool. Let's think this through a bit and nail some categories and guidelines.
Prison, Railroad... what else? Guideline would be the page contains enough of the subject material to make it belong comfortably to that cat.
'Illness' (TB Woman Blues, Lemon's feets)
'Crime'
'Alcohol'
'Starvation'
'Weapons'
'Disasters'
Can we find some more positive ones? :P
'Nightlife'
'Dance'
'Food'
I'm thinking don't add a '...songs' or '...lyrics' to the cat names so we can shove all forms of content in there, not only lyrics.
We could make each one a sub-cat of... what? 'Arcana'? Then the structure is ready-made and already linked to in the Bedslats section. Plus the structure remains fairly flat and as simple as possible, and there's not much in 'Arcana' at present.
I'm updating the mother-in-law-of-all-wiki-diagrams and will post it later.

Comments most welcome, proposed layout, additions in red:

Any comments post them here, otherwise I'll go ahead and start setting it up as proposed, probably on the weekend.

Hi Pan, the shipwreck thread lyrics really need and deserve to be entered as individual pages in weeniepedia, then we can easily tie them into a 'Disasters' tree structure. We can also put a link back to the forum thread on the 'Disasters' category page.
-
Hi all,
I've been kind pecking away at things. I've been working on the following:
* adding Guitar Slim & Jelly Belly Lyrics as I transcribe them
* started a Willie McTell lyrics page and put in "It's My Desire"
* started Sam Collins artist and lyrics pages and entered "It Won't Be Long"
* updated "Adventures in Vestapol" to include non-slide performances in Vestapol from the George Mitchell Collection and "Rosca Mama Blues"
* doing some editing of earlier entries
all best,
Johnm
-
I've added categories under Arcana:
- Category:Disaster
- Category:Disease
- Category:Gambling
- Category:Prison
- Category:Railroads
- Category:War
...and indexed a bunch of songs to them, many more to do, feel free!
Maybe 'railroads' should be 'transportation'? Easy to rearrange, let me know.
Other, new, cats that occurred to me:
Work
Religion
Politics

Great job Rivers!
What about murders (or crime, as you already had earlier)?
Locations also come to mind.
Cheers

I do think "alcohol" is worth having, or maybe "alcohol/ drugs" to encompass Patton's spoonful and the like.
-
Demo here (http://www.weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page), for example click on 'Blues Arcana', 'Category:Railroads'
Awesome! O0 :P
Love the railroad pic too!
-
Yeh the engraving was a lucky find and fits the style for a category page.
Crime definitely. They need to be broad enough but not too broad, 'crime' does it, 'Murder' too limited.
Another category would be 'Hoodoo', for all the folkmagic references.
Let's not mix alcohol and drugs! Seriously I'd like to keep them distinct. Drugs can be recreational and/or medical. I thought spoonful was a ref to semen? Haven't listened to Patton's song recently.
-
http://www.weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Arcana
...have got up to the end of letter 'D' in the combined lyrics page.
Please check it out and opine whether or not the categories make sense, they're easy to change around, this is a first cut. I'm dying to put a "Snowmobiles" category up.
-
Let's not mix alcohol and drugs! Seriously I'd like to keep them distinct.
How would you classify canned heat!?
-
Alcohol. Or was there something else in it?
-
Just to let you know that I created an artist page for Banjo Ikey Robinson (http://www.weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Banjo_Ikey_Robinson) in weeniepedia and a Banjo Ikey Robinson lyrics (http://www.weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Banjo_Ikey_Robinson_Lyrics) page too. I added all the lyrics we worked out so far in this thread (http://weeniecampbell.com/yabbse/index.php?amp;Itemid=128&topic=5326.0;all).
-
Nice work Mr. Mando!
-
I believe I'm going to cry with happiness. You totally nailed the structure mr mando. I just put a [[category:banjo ikey robinson]] tag on the B.I.R. lyrics category page so that the
[+]
drill-down-the-tree-whizziness control appears on the top level artists' page.
-
I believe I'm going to cry with happiness.
Rivers, before you throw a fit, I just noticed that the error I made with my first try didn't completely disappear. The system left an empty article here (http://weeniecampbell.com/wiki/index.php?title=Banjo_Ikey_Robinson). I didn't find a way to delete this so far, but I'm sure you know how.
-
Ah ha, I have made that exact same mistake, creating an article when I intended it to be a category. I have deleted it.
It's weird until you get used to it, you have to do everything 'bottom-up' in a categorized wiki, essentially creating a low-level article first with the new category tag on it, then clicking on the new (red) category link to create and edit the new category / sub-category.
Anyway, kudos to you for understanding the layout and I hope you'll feel inspired to do more wiki editing.
-
Hi all,
just to let you know I uploaded a jpg of Banjo Ikey Robinson and linked it to his artists page.
-
Over the last few weeks I've been adding entries to the Weeniepedia annotated bibliography. It's now up to 19 entries.
-
Great work dj. Slowly but surely weeniepedia will become a world class resource.

I'll second that, on both counts. I really must get my act together and add some!

Further to that I see there's quite a useful list of blues books here...but that is all it is...a list. http://www.earlyblues.com/blues%20books%20-%20recommendations.htm

Hardly what you'd call a "comprehensive bibliography", is it?
-
Still a good list on that site, though.
Thanks for adding to the bibliography, dj. I've got a bunch of stuff to add there as well but am first dealing with migrating the revised Lemon lyrics over.

Speaking as someone who folk claim lives in a book and magazine warehouse, no, but to others it might appear "comprehensive". :) But I take your point.
-
Hi all,
I've been adding lyrics to Weeniepedia, artist pages, etc. All of the Guitar Slim & Jellybelly, Cedar Creek Sheik, Tom Dickson, and Gabriel Brown lyrics that have been transcribed have been entered as well as a lot of others. There are now over 650 Country Blues song lyrics entered there, with the complete lyrics of many artists transcribed. Check it out, it's really becoming quite a resource.
All best,
Johnm
-
That's great, John. Thanks for your diligence.
-
Hi all,
I don't have any sense of how much folks are visiting/utilizing Weeniepedia, but I've been doing a bunch of entries there. There are now lyrics to 698 Country Blues songs available there, and I've added artist pages on Ralph Willis, Hambone Willie Newbern, Frank Hovington, Uncle Dave Macon, Jimmie Rodgers, The Two Poor Boys, and Lonzie Thomas. If you haven't been there for a while or have never examined it, you might want to check it out, it's in the left Main Menu column.
All best,
Johnm
-
Well, I just wanted to say, that I, for one, visit Weeniepedia quite often, and that I think that it is a tremendous resource. I do believe that I'm not alone on this, but somehow, when you take things like this for granted, you easily forget to express your gratitude towards it.
Anyway, thanks for the great work, everyone involved!

I'll second all of that. Keep up the good work, especially all you tireless lyric transcribers.

Hi all,
Just a Weeniepedia update: There are now more than 700 Country Blues song lyric transcriptions there, and the complete recorded lyrics of several musicians are transcribed.

Hi all,
All of Clifford Gibson's discovered sides released under his own name have been added to Weeniepedia, and the lyrics transcribed and entered now total 740 songs.

Astonishing dedication by one and all. I wish I could find time to "beef up" the bibliography section.
One question. I note that there's an area named discography which has just two Tampa Red CDs and with track lists. Is it the intention to also include critiques?
-
The discography section started as a natural enough area to have as part of weeniepedia, we've never gotten around to focusing on it, and maybe never will. Hence there only being a couple of placeholders in it.
The intention at the time was for it to contain definitive, obtainable, recommended releases for people wanting to build a solid collection, rather than being a complete discography. Mr Wirz has done an admirable job in that respect.
Now I come to think about it, since 'obtainable' was a criteria, it would be out-of-date every time something went OOP, which is all the time.
What would be nice would be for Stefan to get all his stuff into a Wiki, then you could tag said recommended & obtainable items, and have them searchable as such. (Hint Hint...) ;D
-
What would be nice would be for Stefan to get all his stuff into a Wiki, then you could tag said recommended & obtainable items, and have them searchable as such. (Hint Hint...) ;D
As all Stefan's discographies are currently tagged here (plus one or two others) could one perhaps put links to them in what is currently a discographical area in Weeniepedia. Then at least it will have data and a "function" which at present is only home to two Tampa Red CDs.
Or am I talking out of the back of my head as per usual?
-
Hmm, now there's an idea, if you could jump directly to the place on Stefan's page where the specific album was situated. That would need an HTML jump tag for each album on the page. Assuming said jumps were there (I can't discern that from viewing the source), you'd probably lose the upper navigation frame.
-
Hi all,
We now have the lyrics to 801 songs entered in Weeniepedia, and I've also entered the Positions/Tunings/Keys for John Hurt's Library of Congress Recordings and Libba Cotten's Folkways recordings in the Musicianship section of Weeniepedia. If you haven't been there before or for a while, give it a visit. It's getting to be quite a resource.
All best,
Johnm

Wow, what a body of work. Thanks!!!!
-
Hi all,
Positions/Tunings/Keys for Shirley Griffith's Bluesville and Blue Goose recordings are up in the Guitar section, under Musicianship in Weeniepedia.

Wow! Terrific John. Thanks!
-
I'm trying to pin down the release dates for Charlie Patton: Founder of the Delta Blues Yazoo 2010 and KIng of the Delta Blues:The Music of Charlie Patton Yazoo 2001.
I couldn't find a Wirz discog. So I thought I'd give Weeniepedia a go.
Anyhoo, are there plans to update this? A compendious discography including various important CD releases sure would be mighty useful right 'bout now.
-
Founder: 1/1/69
King: 1/1/91
I got this from the interwebs so it must be true.
Seriously, who releases records on New Year's Day? But that's what I found. The year may, or may not, be accurate.
-
Hi all,
For what it's worth, I just noticed that after the most recent lyric entry, we now have the lyrics to 900 songs in Weeniepedia, including all the lyrics of Lemon Jefferson, Charlie Lincoln, Willie Baker, Willie Reed, Ramblin' Thomas, Herman E. Johnson, Gene Campbell, and many more. If you haven't visited there in a while, you may want to check it out--it's becoming quite a resource.
All best,
Johnm
-
Currently at 946 songs, we should have a party when we reach 1,000, 54 to go.
-
Hi all,
I added Dave and Howard's "My Bone's Gonna Rise Again" and ten Cannon's Jug Stompers songs that uncle bud had transcribed a while ago but never put into Weeniepedia. As 2011 draws to a close, we have 1,000 song lyrics transcribed in Weeniepedia! Happy New Year and best wishes for good times in 2012!
All best,
Johnm
-
Woot! Woot! 1000 lyrics! Congrats Johnm, who has done yeoman's work on the lyric collection!
Happy New Year Everyone!
-
Incredible effort, congrats all round and particularly to Johnm. That's great timing for the new year!
-
Hi all,
I added the Frank Stokes Playing Positions/Keys to Weeniepedia in the Musicianship section, under guitar.
All best,

Hi all,
I've finished entering a new page under "Musicianship-Guitar" in WeeniePedia. It is "The Carter Family's Commercially Released Recordings: Playing Position, Pitch and Arrangements". I will be adding some notes to the page, but mostly wanted to get the tables entered first. I hope some folks will find it interesting.
All best,
Johnm
-
Wow! That is a bunch of recordings! Fabulous work Johnm, I think I need to go buy some of these recordings, I'm a little light on Carter Family recordings.
-
Hi all,
1,100 song lyrics are transcribed in Weeniepedia as of today.
All best,

Great work Johnm et al! Weeniepedia is quite the resource!

Yes, there's more good stuff in there all the time, John D., including a lot of stuff that can't be found elsewhere.

My hat off to your hard work, guys!
I find myself visiting the Weenepedia more and more often, and I'm truly greatful for it's existence!
Cheers
Pan
-
Thanks Pan. Good to know someone is using it!
-
I use it a lot also. In fact I no longer transcribe lyrics and store them locally in text or word files. If I want to perform it I post the lyrics to WC and when all the back and forth corrections are done I make sure to put the final version on weeniepedia.
It's a lot quicker than searching the outer reaches of my hard drives for something I know I transcribed once, on another machine years ago, and copied across to a USB drive somewhere. Cloud computing, I guess.
-
Hi all,
I've been busy the past couple of days going through the huge backlog of Buddy Moss lyric transcriptions that ScottN did--thanks, Scott! I've made it through them all, and have entered them in Weeniepedia, 27 songs in the past five days. We now have 57 songs by Buddy Moss transcribed and in Weeniepedia, with playing positions indicated as well. This must be the most comprehensive collection of information available on the music of Buddy Moss today. I just thought some of you might be interested. Go take a look.
All best,
Johnm
-
Hi JohnM - wow, thanks for all the work on finalizing these...with all the editing of syntax, punctuation, format, spelling, let alone all the relistening to the songs for the misheard words in the original "draft" postings, 27 in five days is an incredible amount of time and effort! Thanks again for cleaning these up and getting them posted!
Scott

Great work guys! A "Buddy Moss Guitar Keys and Positions" would be a nice accompaniment... 8)

Please check it out if you've not been there before or if it's been a while since you've been there. If you click on Lyrics when you first go to Weeniepedia, you'll be sent to the alphabetic listing of all the transcribed songs. If on that page, you click on "Lyrics by Artist", it will take you to a page where you can link to Lyrics pages for all of the artists' whose songs we've transcribed.
All best,
Johnm

As of today, we have 1,300 country blues song lyrics transcribed in Weeniepedia
Wow, that's impressive, considering that I remember when there weren't 1,300 country blues songs available on LP to transcribe. Gosh, that thought makes me feel old. :(

Now the recent bandwidth issues are under control I'll take another look at integrating weeniepedia search more tightly with the forum.
-
I've added a weeniepedia search to the forum, immediately underneath the regular search box in the left column. It's version 1, the alignment is not perfect particularly on Opera & IE6, will fix.
So if you type a search term into the weeniepedia search box the wiki search results will open in a new browser tab in the current tab.
[later: I think it works better to make it open the wiki results in the same tab, particularly with Safari which insists on starting a new browser session. You can hit the back button to navigate back to the forum]
-
Too cool! :)
-
If anyone thinks it's a good idea we could put a third search up there as well, juke playlist search w/dropdown for search by title / artist / album / all, per the juke playlist page. In fact I'll put a demo together so we can see how it looks.
-
I just tried it out and it works like a charm. Well done, Rivers!

Translated, that's a thumbs up!
-
Hi all,
I've made new Song Family pages at Weeniepedia for "The Titanic", "John Henry", "Stackerlee" and "Frankie & Albert" which collect all of the songs we've transcribed in these categories, link back to discussions of them here and to the tag index for each of those categories. Look in the Song Families category in Weeniepedia if you're interested.
All best,

Hi all,
A new category, Religious Songs, has been added to Weeniepedia. If you go there, you can find a master list of the religious songs that have had their lyrics transcribed under the letter "M", and you can also find the songs sorted by the musicians who recorded them. The category will be added to as more religious songs are transcribed.
All best,
Johnm
-
Hi all,
A new category, "Piano Players/Blues Singers", has been added to the Piano category under Musicianship in Weeniepedia. It collects all of the songs performed by self-accompanied pianists that have been transcribed in Weeniepedia in one place.
All best,
Johnm
-
Hi all,
As part of an ongoing effort to make the Site less guitar-centric, I've added a page, "Piano Accompanists" to the Piano section under Musicianship in Weeniepedia. It collects the songs in which a pianist accompanies a singer, but is not the featured vocalist.
All best,
Johnm

Whup it, mister piano-whupper...

Was listening to Shirley Griffith tonight and it struck me that maybe another storied, archetypal song family, played in several variations, would be the Meet Me In The Bottom group. I'm thinking Shirley Griffith, Howlin' Wolf, Mance & Pink Anderson. All are great and, in my opinion, point to an older granddaddy archetypal version that we'll probably never get to hear.
There are probably more, that's all I could think of and/or find. Scrapper maybe did a version but I'm not sure about that.

Thanks for the good words, John D. and Phil! It is getting to be a pretty substantial resource. For folks who may have not visited it in a while, check out the Song Families and Religious Songs sections. There has been a lot of growth in those areas.

Hi all,
We just hit the 1,800 mark for Country Blues song lyrics transcribed in Weeniepedia and the main Lyrics page has 3, 354, 093 hits (hard to say how many of those have been bots). Still, that's kind of amazing.
All best,
Johnm
-
Wow ! Indeed amazing, and huge thanks to you John. I would not like to try and put a % to the contribution you have made as there are others and of course the Website adminstrators efforts. However I think you give a lot of assruance to the accrracy of many weeniepedia submissions as well as your own which adds to the quality which I am sure increases the hits.
-
Thanks for the good words, Andrew, and I hope to see you this summer at Blues Week, along with Simon, Phil, Richard, Gordon, Colm and any other friends who would like to come along. It's a really good line-up this year, and some new faces involved. I'm sure looking forward to it.

Thanks for the good words, guys. It has been a lot of fun and I've learned a lot. I have no idea of how much people are using Weeniepedia, but there is really a lot of information in there at this point, and not just lyrics.

That's probably one of the eternal laments of all archivists. It's hard yakka (kiwi expression, I have no idea how it originated but always liked the sound of it) accomplishing the task of collecting and making available historical material to the world without getting day to day feedback. Strangely that makes it all the more worthwhile. So just go for it, I reckon. If you need any help just holler.

I transcribed Bo Carter's "Old Devil" a while back but it's not on weeniepedia. Is there a criteria for the songs that are listed? How does this work?

Do all the songs transcribed on Weenie Campbell end up on Weeniepedia?
I did a transcription of "The Honey Dripper" (Sykes, Anrold) recently and Old Devil (Carter) but I can't find it on Weeniepedia.
-
I will check on those songs, Harry. Thanks for the heads up.
EDITED TO ADD: I entered those two songs, Harry.

Hi all,
Just to let you know, we just hit the mark for 3,000 song lyrics transcribed and posted in Weeniepedia. Thanks to all who have contributed by posting lyric transcriptions and by engaging in close listening and making suggestions for making lyrics that have been posted more accurate. That is a lot of songs, and Weeniepedia is really becoming a great resource, I think.

Hi all,
Yesterday and today I entered a new page on the Guitar page in Musicianship in Weeniepedia. It's kind of a big one, called "Guitar Accompanists". I had been thinking for some time about how we've had for several years now a page, "Piano Accompanists" on the Piano page in Weeniepedia, and thought we should have an analogous one on the Guitar page. It ended up being a very time-consuming operation, but it's up now for your perusal. I decided to enter only song performances in which the guitarist was accompanying a non-playing singer, because I think in that context the guitar is filling a different, and bigger responsibility than in duo performances of more or less long standing, like Leroy Carr and Scrapper Blackwell, or Big Maceo and Tampa Red. Similarly, I see Joe McCoy accompanying Alec Johnson, a non-player, as being very different than Joe's work with Memphis Minnie.
I'm curious, do any of you ever go to Weeniepedia, look things up, or get information there? I'd appreciate it if some of those of you who do use it from time to time could indicate so here. Thanks.
All best,
Johnm
-
Wow, that is indeed a lot of work, John. I use Weeniepedia pretty regularly. It's a great resource, and I really appreciate the folks who contribute so much to it. Thanks.
-
I'm a regular visitor, 2-3 times per week.
Just before Covid I was hosting a monthly country blues jam at a local bookstore. Prepping songs for each session got a boost from the lyrics and playing positions info on Weeniepedia.
After Covid shut down that jam session, I started doing some regular stuff on zoom with a few friends. I try to prep at least one new song per session, and I visit weeniepedia regularly to support my tin ear and need for lyrics.
It's a treasure, thanks to those of you who have been or continue to be regular contributors and organizers.

I don't use it often at all - but when you modify it I check it out. Is it like wikipedia, where any of us can edit it? Last I looked, there was nothing much, or perhaps nothing about fiddle in there. And since I've been playing a lot more fiddle lately ( although not really country blues, instead Country, and some blues, Country-Rock) I was considering whether I should suggest any entries or make some myself. But pretty much figured with Cleoma fairly regularly contributing, it is fairly well covered by an expert!
I'll have to visit the fiddle Blues page more and gradually check that stuff out, and revisit the original discussion thread.

David, at the risk of telling you more than you want to know, yes, the software used is the same as Wikipedia. For awhile any weeniecampbell members could edit the wiki, but no one took advantage and we had problems linking the smf membership permissions to the wiki permissions (two different software packages).
If anyone wants to contribute to the wiki... we can set them up... with some explaining and training. It's powerful software as has been so beautifully demonstrated by Johnm's addition. (Fantastic expansion John!)

I do use Weeniepedia. I just took a look at the Guitar Accompanists page - that’s a great addition. Thank you.

I often use Weeniepedia for song lyrics, song keys and positions. A mine of information.

Thanks to those who responded, and thanks for the good words. I'm really glad that some of you are using Weeniepedia. There's quite a lot in there now.
One of the features I especially like is the Song Family page. You can check out multiple versions of songs that have been played and recorded a lot, and get ideas of different lyrics or melodies to some of the real warhorses like Boll Weevil, John Henry, Frankie or Stackerlee. Sound samples are not provided there, but you can find most of the versions that are transcribed there on youtube. Some of the more obscure versions have terrific lyrics, like Jewell Long's version of "Frankie" or Emry Arthur's, or Phineas Rockmore's version of Boll Weevil. It's neat to be able to do a different version of a song that people only know of in one or two versions. Or you can take lyrics and make up your own melody. If you're comfortable in the musical language, it's not necessary to base your own version on a pre-existing version all the time. Just a thought.
All best,
Johnm

A bit late replying, but yeah, I dip into Weeniepedia. For song keys and positions or just to have a look see. Also, very much appreciate to time and effort that is put into it. Occasionally I'll have flights of fancy about contributing info about a particular artist (song key/position) but I'm feared I'll probably screw it up.
All the Best,
Ned
