An (mostly) original blues number
« on: December 20, 2017, 03:37:08 PM »
I finally got ahold of a friend's laptop and decided to make a short film of my playing. It's a number I call "Evil Hearted Woman", played out of EAEGBE tuned to F. The guitar is just an old cheapo that I slapped a pickup infor fun. This recording, however is unplugged and raw. Hope y'all enjoy! And yes, those are a finger and thumbpick:)

That sounds superb, Frailer! those crappy laptop cams sure do make for a good old time sound. I hope there's more where that came from?  8)

Nice job, Larry!  That's some really exciting, loose playing and your singing sounds good, too.  Well done!
All best,
Johnm

That is excellent! Maybe there should be a Country Blues Originals thread for songs and performances like these. I know there are a few folk writing and performing original songs in the old style! Well done Larry and thanks for posting.

Well, golly! I didn't expect such a strong reaction to what I consider just "foolin' 'round"! Thank you, everyone for the kind words and support! I'll have a clip up soon of the old Sovereign with the new bone saddle I put in earlier.
