Actually it's great, we've come a long way since the email list of 1997 and the community feels right - just a bunch of really nice people with a keen interest in Country Blues.  So, lots of fun for me.

Congrats to all concerned for hitting the 5,000 post milestone, but especially those who got the thing going in the early stages--John D, Mark, Andrew, Frank, Bill, Miller, DaveB, John H, Deacon and some others I'm probably forgetting.  I remember when I first joined and started going to the list-serve, I was really sucked in by the passion that everybody brought to their discussions of the music, and the collaborative lyric transcriptions were ear-opening.  And the tone has been good all along.
Re Beaujolais, it's probably important to remember that 3,500 of the posts have to do with the lyrics to "Last Kind Word"!
