For some reason I can't access Frankie's tune on the Bandcamp!  :'(

I get the following message repeatedly:

"Hmm, that shouldn't have happened.
Please go back and try reloading the page, waiting for it to load fully. Sorry for the inconvenience!"

Apparently the link worked for Uncle Bud.  Are others able to hear it?

Congratulations to others for their great songs. Keep them coming!

I've just had a quick sneaky listen (..I'm at work..) and it opened fine....It's really great!

Well done Frankie! I love it.

Pan - tried clearing your cache and maybe delete bandcamp cookies?

i dunno, Pan - you could certainly try clearing cache/cookies, closing down the browser, re-starting and trying again.

If you go my "homepage" on bandcamp, this tune comes up by default since it's the last thing I posted:

http://countryblues.bandcamp.com/

maybe the link is the issue? I'd have done it as a video if my Movie Maker app wasn't punking on me!

Hi all,
I've recorded a tune and saved it to an .mp3, but the file is too large and it won't accept it.  I have iTunes.  Any advice for how to make the .mp3 smaller?
All best,
Johnm

Hi all,
I hope I figured it out.  Happy birthday to John Hurt and thanks to Colm for thinking of this way to honor his memory.  Thanks to all who have already posted, too.
All best,
Johnm

Thanks Frankie, I was actually going to do Monday Morning, but didn't dare, after hearing your stellar version!  :P

Relistening to Johnm's great tune, what a great party this is turning to!   :D

Very nice renditions all over, thanks to everybody, and for Colm Kill Paul for starting this!  8)

Hi all,
One cool thing about honoring John Hurt is that the song selections can be all over the place, blues, and country songs and hymns, old pop tunes, all over the map.  Thanks for your good words, Colm, but you give me too much credit:  John Hurt played the tunes, and you did the work to learn them.  Well done!  I'm with Pan, I like the party, and the variety is a treat.
All best,
Johnm
