Thanks Stuart. That would be an expected result, no connection with the recent SSL implementation. If you would like to volunteer to be a moderator you would have had access to it! The linked-to post is on the tech talk board which is visible to mods and admins.

I should have picked a public post for my test. Basically I was testing whether using the link BBCode obviated the need to prefix a url with "http://" on the site. It does.
