And I want you to take this to your grave, to your grave. No matter how good you sound, you don't sound good to somebody. And no matter how bad you sound, you sound good to somebody. Most of your criticism comes from people who can't pick their teeth, can't pick nothin'™. They say "He can't play, but they can't do nothin'"". Trust me now, don't ever sit down playin' to entertain, to satisfy your audience, because anything you play ain't gonna satisfy all of them anyway. Johnson, Miller & Dermody Concerts, 5/17, 5/19
« on: May 13, 2013, 01:49:50 PM »
Hi all,
Johnson, Miller & Dermody, featuring Orville Johnson on mandolin, John Miller on guitar and Grant Dermody on harmonica, and all three on vocals will be playing two concerts this week-end.
   * On Friday, May 17th, the trio will be playing for the Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver, B.C.  The show will start at 8:00 PM, admission is $20.00, and the venue is St. James Hall, located at 3214 West 10th Avenue, Kitsilano.  It will be the first performance by the trio in Canada.
   * On Sunday afternoon, May 19, the trio will play a concert at the ballroom of the YWCA, located at 1026 Forest Street in Bellingham, WA.  The show will start at 4:00 PM.
If you have friends who are within comfortable driving distance of these shows we'd sure appreciate it if you let them know about the shows.  And it would be great to see any of you who can make it to the concerts.
All best,
Johnm
