How long, how long blues - Trad?

Guys, help me out here, I'm releasing a new album in February and I need som info regarding who wrote How long, how long blues..?!
It's on the CD and I must get the facts correct..  :o

I've always thought it was an original from Leroy Carr but many says it's a trad. recorded in 1928 by Carr..

Anyone knows for sure??! I'd appreciate some help!!

Registered to Leroy Carr, Mayo Williams.   But others have registered it since including JL Hooker.
